Prohousing Designation Program
The City of Fontana intends to submit an application to the Department of Housing and Community Development’s (HCD) Prohousing Designation Program with the intention of receiving the designation for the second time. Achieving Prohousing Designation will help the City qualify for housing-related grants.
The application will be available for public review and comment until November 25, 2025. Please submit all comments to Cecily Session-Goins, Associate Planner via email at csgoins@fontanaca.gov by 5pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Once the public review period is complete, City staff will address comments received as appropriate and submit the final completed Prohousing Designation Program application to HCD for its official review.
