Y.A.N.A. You Are Not Alone Program

The Fontana Police Department wants our elderly, disabled, and shut- in residents to know they are never alone in the City of Fontana. The "You Are Not Alone", Y.A.N.A. program is a FREE service that allows older and disabled adults, who enjoy living independently, but do not have friends or family in the area, to have security in the knowledge that someone is checking in on them on a regular basis. Fontana Police Citizen Volunteers will conduct visits at a pre-arranged day and time. 

To qualify for the You Are Not Alone service, you must be a resident of Fontana, and complete an application process. For assistance in completing the application form or to request more information, contact Heather Howard at 909-356-7107, or click here to email.
