Class Registration
Online Registration Information
Go to the City of Fontana's ActiveNet page.
- Click on Sign In/Up.
- Complete all identifying information and click submit.
Note: You will be able to add family members to your account once your account/email has been verified - Check your email to verify your account.
- Log back in to AcitveNet using your email address as your user name and password.
- Congratulations, you have created an online account and are ready to register and manager your account!
Log in to ActiveNet with your username and password (if you do not have an online account already set up, please see How to Create an Online Account instructions).
- Click on the Activities button (You are able to browse all activities using key words or by activity number).
- Click the link for the class that you have chosen for more information or you can click Enroll Now to register.
- Click Add a Family Member if you would like to add anyone else to your account. Complete all identifying information per family member.
- To continue with registration, select the name of the family member you are registering from the drop down and click Add to cart.
- You can continue to add registrations by clicking Activities from the top toolbar.
- Once all of your registrations have been added to your cart, review the waiver and agreements carefully, and check the box stating that your have reviewed and agree to the required waivers of liability.
- Once the boxes are checked, you can sign your name in the box below. You can either upload a signature image from a local file or you can use your finger, mouse or trackpad to sign on your phone, computer, or tablet.
- Review your cart summary and click Check Out.
- Input credit card payment information then click Pay.
- Congratulations, your registration is complete.
General Class Registration Information
- Pre-registration is recommended.
- Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis after priority registration date.
- Age verification is required for any child participating in Youth Sports, Camps, and Tiny Tot programs.
- All classes/activities, fees, times, and dates are subject to change.
- All instructors are contractors, City employees, or City volunteers.
- Instructors may use independent assistants or sub instructors to teach classes.
- Instructors have the option of allowing parents to remain in class.
- Children are required to be supervised at all times.
- Child care is not provided prior to, during, or after all classes.
- Accepted registration payments: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Checks, or Money Orders.
- For security purposes, identification will be asked to be provided for credit cards and check payments.
- A $3 administrative fee applies to all transactions.
- A $15 fee applies to all other non-residents (anyone living outside Fontana and not in the adjacent unincorporated county area).
- Some classes may require additional fees for class materials/supplies.
- All checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged $25 administrative fee. The total fee will need to be paid in cash or money order at Fontana City Hall.
- If you are unable to attend or are not satisfied with a class, you may transfer to another class (if space is available), request credit for future Community Services Department programs or request a refund.
- Requests for transfers and refunds must be made prior to the second class meeting.
- Please allow 4-6 weeks processing for all refunds.
- Approved refunds are subject to an administrative fee of $10 per participant, per activity, per membership, per facility reservation.
- Material fees paid to the instructor are non-refundable.
- All refunds are issued back to the customer via check.
- Classes will be cancelled or combined if they do not have the minimum amount of registered participants.
- Classes with full capacity registration will begin placing interested participants on a waiting list. When and if openings occur, participants will be contacted and registration will take place on a first come, first serve basis.
- Release of Medical and Liability & Assumption of Risk Form and Registration Fee are due at time of registration.
- All participants involved in any City programs or special events are subject to being photographed.
- Such photography may be used by the City of Fontana for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Official City photographers are required to display an official city of Fontana ID badge at all times.
