The City of Fontana's streets and wastewater networks are maintained by the Utilities and Street Division. It is this division's responsibility to provide the necessary repairs and upkeeping of public streets, sewers, and storm drains in order to keep the city's essential infrastructure operating smoothly and serving the needs of the citizens of Fontana. Throughout the year various street rehabilitation and improvement projects are conducted to maintain our roads in adequate working conditions. Routine sewer and storm drain clean-up occur throughout the city to keep a proper flow in the wastewater network and reduce the amount of pollution that harms our environmental wildlife.
