The next regularly scheduled election is November 5, 2024, for the offices of Council District 2 and Council District 3.
The offices of Mayor, Council District's 1 and 4, City Treasurer and City Clerk will be voted upon in 2026. Please note that the office of Mayor, City Clerk and City Treasurer are at-large.

Nomination Period:
Monday, July 15 through Friday, August 9 at 5:00 p.m.*
The City Clerk's Office is normally closed on Fridays, however, will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9 for the official close of the nomination period. Appointments are requested.
*Nomination period will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on August 14, 2024, if an incumbent fails to file nomination papers by the August 9 deadline.

Duties of the City Clerk's Department
The Deputy City Clerk is the local election official and coordinates with the County of San Bernardino to conduct municipal elections. Duties of the elections official include preparing necessary resolutions calling for general and special municipal elections, coordinating the candidate nomination process, receipt and process of initiative, referendum, and recall petitions, and declaring election results.
Please note that the Deputy City Clerk is the local filing official but may not answer technical questions regarding the Fair Political Practices Commission’s disclosure forms.
