Altering your dog is a personal choice, with the exception of the City of Fontana's mandatory ordinance to spay/neuter Pit Bulls or any mixed breed which contain an element of Pit Bull in its breeding. If the dog is recognized by and registered with a national registry such as American Kennel Club (AKC), or United Kennel Club (UKC) this requirement will be waived provided proof of registry is provided at the time of licensing.
