City's Community Services Department Brings Summer Fun Programming and Events to the City

The City of Fontana’s Community Services Department is excited to announce that the 2023 Summer Activity Brochure is now available online and is arriving in household mailboxes this month.

They say that everything good and everything magical, happens between the months of May and August, and the Community Services Department is ready. From art events to concerts in the Park, Summer Camps to Aquatics, this summer is sure to be one to remember.
 
Classes and programs begin May 1, with resident registration now open. Non-resident begins April 17.   
 Register for a class one of three ways: 

  1. Registering online at https://Fontanaca.PerfectMind.com. Create a recreation account through the City’s registration provider, Perfect Mind.  
  2. Call the Community Services Department at (909) 349-6900 or Spanish (909) 349-6901. Visit the main office in-person at 16860 Valencia Ave., Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  3. Visit your local Fontana Community Center. See hours of operation online at https://www.fontana.org/156/Facilities-Parks

  • Fontana Pools Open to Public (Fontana Park Aquatic Center Pool, Heritage Pool, Miller Pool, Don Day Pool, Martin Tudor Pool) | May 27  
  • Dive-In Movie Nights (Heritage Pool) | Fridays starting June 9 from 7 p.m.– 9:30 p.m. 
  • Dive-In Movie Nights (Don Day Pool) | Saturdays starting June 10 from 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
  • Fontana Days Festival (Veterans Park) | June 1 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. | June 2 from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. | June 3 from 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. | June 4 from 12 p.m.– 11 p.m.

  • 4th of July Celebration (Summit High School) | July 1 from 6 p.m.– 9 p.m. 
  • Spring Street Night Market (Spring Street) | July 21 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. 
  • Swim 2 Win (Fontana Park Aquatic Center) | July 29 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
