The Local Hazard Mitigation Plan update is a “living document” that should be reviewed, monitored and updated to reflect changing conditions and new information. As required, the LHMP must be updated every five (5) years to remain in compliance with regulations and federal mitigation grant conditions. The Hazard Mitigation Plan below is an update of the City of Fontana's Hazard Mitigation Plan approved by FEMA in October 2012. This LHMP presents updated information regarding hazards being faced by the City of Fontana.
Approved and Adopted by City Council on August 14, 2018 – City Council Resolution No. 2018-072.
